expressSignOn

ExpressSignOn provides automatic authentication in Remedy.

ExpressSignOn provides single-sign-on between your Windows domain session and Remedy : your windows authentication token is passed to expressSignOn authenticator, which authenticates you in Remedy (provided your account exists in Remedy and in your Domain Active Directory, and AREA LDAP is configured in Remedy).

Thanks to expressSignOn, there is no more time wasted providing login and password in Remedy (which could happen ten times per day for each Service Desk agent or employee working in Remedy).

Used in conjunction with expressAgent and expressHelp, automatic authentication is a must : without it, a Service Desk agent receiving a conversation transferred by expressAgent, would have to type his login and password in the part of the Lync conversation window that displays the Remedy ticket.
